Vegas–Hot and Cold

No products today, no (hopefully) insightful trends, just a look at some of the people who were at GlassBuild America last week. So, with a nod to the NY Post popular “gossip” column on page 6 every day, here goes: GlassBuild is full of products and presentations but the best part is always the people. Music to My Ears

Wait, what’s that I hear? Can you hear it, too? It’s been so long since my ears have been pinged by it, I barely recognized it. But I hear it loud and clear, and now that I do, I want it to play on and on. What’s that sound? It is the sound of major business being done. And it’s music to my ears. In Dedication

Whenever it’s summer Olympics time, it’s also time for USGlass to do its quadrennial “Most Influential People in the Glass Industry” feature, which is exactly what we did last month. Thanks to everyone who wrote with nice compliments. They were appreciated. Our next issue of USGlass magazine, the September issue, is dedicated to the memory of Shirley W.
